Pull-ups are the ultimate test of upper body strength, but getting the form just right can be tricky.
If you’re struggling, don’t worry, you’re not alone!
The key to a strong pull-up is engaging the right muscles.
Don’t just use your arms!
Start by engaging your back muscles.
Imagine pulling your elbows down toward your hips, not just pulling your chin over the bar.
If you’re not quite there yet, don’t skip the basics.
Do dead hangs to improve grip strength or use resistance bands for assistance.
This will gradually build the strength you need to do pull-ups unassisted.
Perfect form is better than cranking out sloppy reps, so focus on quality, not quantity!
